Solemnity of Christ the King Year C

Sorry, text is only available on request.

‘This Sunday’s liturgy marks the last Sunday in Ordinary time. It will then be followed by the Advent season of an expectant waiting. Thus, the Church in her wisdom intentionally crowns the year with this solemnity of Christianity, not only to provide a smooth transition to the Advent mood of waiting, but perhaps even more importantly to help us contemplate the true identity of the One whose advent we will be awaiting during advent. The contemplation of this feast makes the splendour of the incarnation to shine more brightly. Find out more and be abundantly blessed as you listen’.
