Easter Sunday Greeting

Alleluia! Christ is Risen, Alleluia!

The resurrection of Jesus is everything, it is our hope, our joy, our purpose and indeed our Power. As Christians, our lives are guided by it and called to witness to it. It is only in the contemplation of the resurrection that we could ever understand the truth that our hope is not deceptive. In the dying of the only Son of God, death is destroyed, and life is eternally manifested. Because he lives, we shall live. Resurrection tells us that: • we are loved unconditionally and are worth more than we can ever imagine. • love is stronger than death • death does not have the final say. • no matter how bad and ugly life gets with all its anxieties, fears and uncertainties, there remains something beautiful and precious in each of us. • no depth of pain and sufferings is beyond the reach of God's grace. • the Resurrection is a sign that, in the end, light and life shall permanently dwarf and destroy darkness and death. As we celebrate the Easter, I encourage us to ponder all these things in our heart. And now, to you and your family, friends and loved ones, I wish a graceful and peaceful Easter celebration, an Easter of Divine encounter.
