GOOD SHEPHERD SUNDAY (FOURTH SUNDAY OF EASTER YEAR A)

Jesus, Our Good Shepherd who lays down his life for his flock (us). What is at the heart of the mystery we celebrate this Sunday is the truth that Jesus is the fulfilment of God's ancient promises to give a true Shepherd (Jeremiah 3:15, 23:4 ) and to Shepherd us by Himself (Ezekiel 34:1-6, 34:7).

However, it is not enough to confess this truth. Hence, this mystery we celebrate invites us to consider very seriously if we are his sheep, listening to him and following him (Jn 10).

May God help us to be his faithful sheep, listening and following him. Happy Good Shepherd Sunday.
