The Water that wells up into Eternal Life

Jesus is the One that gives us the true water that quenches our thirst and restores our hope. Moses struck the rock in the desert and water gushed forth for God’s people. However, whoever drank from that water thirsted again and again and again. It wasn’t meant to satisfy one completely because it was only a prefiguration of the True Living Water from The Rock of Ages, Jesus Christ. Jesus is the who was broken and water and blood gushed forth for our eternal salvation. He is the One who gives us the real and true water ( Holy Spirit) that wells up into eternal life. Thus, Jesus communicates this truth to the Samaritan woman at the well in today’s Gospel from John4:5-42. Find out more and blessed as you listen.
