WHEN GOD BECOMES YOUR ALL

WHEN GOD TRULY BECOMES YOUR ALL, THEN ALL BECOMES YOURS.

Christian Victorious life flows from the merits of the Resurrection which are exercised by a deliberate self- emptying. The Apostles knew this. Thus, they said to the crippled man in Act 3, “I have neither silver nor gold, but I will give you WHAT I have: in the name of Jesus Christ the Nazarene, walk!’. And the Man walked. Having emptied themselves of ego, pride, selfishness, envy and the likes, God became their portion. And when God becomes your all, all becomes yours.

But the questions are, do we know what has been freely given to us in the Lord’s resurrection? Are we ready to access it by embarking, by grace, on a-life-time journey of emptying ourselves of the sins that stand in the way?

God, help us to act in the knowledge of this truth so that through us, as we heard in today’s first reading, many shall come to know that it was for them that you raised up Jesus from the dead. Through Christ our Lord. Amen.
